I bought this travel sized version of the serum because I travel a lot and I did not want to spend a huge amount of money before testing the efficacy of this product. I am very skeptical about manufacturers' claims because I've tried many products that don't work. This product worked on my skin:
- diminished a big brown spot on my cheek
- diminished small brown spots on both cheeks
- made my skin tone more even

It did not completely remove the brown spots after 4 weeks of use but my skin is much clearer and brighter. This might not work on your skin. Different skins react differently. For example arbutin, which scientists claim is effective for diminishing brown spots, did nothing for me. You have to try different products to see which one works for you.

To help others wondering if it will help your specific skin tone, I'm Asian, 55, with dark age spots older Asian women tend to get. I tried the lightening serum for a month, once or twice a day before applying a moisturizer. It did not help lighten any of my dark spots and did absolutely nothing, not even the slightest improvement. What a big disappointment - I was really hoping it would helped.

I used this product both morning and night after I have cleansed my skin with the Benefiance Extra Creamy Cleansing Foam. I do use the Mia Sonic Brush for my cleansing. Have used this product for eight days, my skiing was absolutely horrible. I had breakouts, scaring, dark spots and uneven skin tones. Have not seen my daughter in the last week. Had just stepped out of the shower with a towel around my head and my daughter commented on how wonderful my skin looked. She asked me, "What happened to all your Brown spots? " Each day I use this I see an improvement. I am 58 years old and I have always had a spot on my cheek that was broken out and looked absolutely awful on my face. The dermatologist even scraped it off at one time but it had come back. After washing my face, I use the Benefiance Wrinkle Resist 24 Balancing softener, then I use the White Lucent Intensive Spot Targeting Serum. At night I use the Bio-Preformance, Advanced Restoring Cream, in the am, Benefiance Wrinkle Resist24 Day Emulsion. Let me tell you I have tried all the ex model and TV stars products that you see on TV and they all broke me out, I had to send them all back. I know this stuff is a bit pricey and I am definitely a budget shopper because I live on a fixed income, But, my face is worth.

I really love this serum! I used it every morning and evening after balancing and before applying moisturizer. This is the great product. It does'nt cause a breakout for me and really works for dark spots and pimple mark. I definetely repurchase again after my second bottle of this serim.
