I had thought the product was more a stain than a regular lipstick. It wore off easily and quickly. I returned both. The online color representation was much lighter than what I received ... one shade was almost invisible.

The Shiseido counter saleswoman introduced me to this last month when I went to buy my usual lipstick and I was doubtful given I do not wear "glosses". Well, I was sold. I'd have given this 5 stars but it is a bit sticky and thick on application. However, this negative aspect is quick to wear off and easily blotted...and the color stays for HOURS! Even as it fades, it fades beautifully. I will continue to buy this and will try one in another shade when spring arrives.

This lacquer is absolutely perfect! I got Nocturne and the deep red is so delish! Love the way my lips feel moist but not greasy or glossy. The lips have a very slight sheen to them, but not a gloss. Since the color is very saturated and intense, especially with the reds and the browns, apply lightly, then go over as needed. Do not over use as it lasts and wears well through talking, snacking and drinking. Well worth the money. Love the applicator(sponge and angled perfectly).

I found this lipstick when I was getting a free mini facial at the Shiseido counter in the mall (would recommend this) and the lady doing it had this beautiful, deep lipstick on so I asked her what it was...RD607 (Nocturne)...it was about 1pm and she said she first applied about 9am and never retouched! Of course I was skeptical but the color was so beautiful I bought it...and it's true! Recently I wore it through 2 beers, a graduation ceremony, 2 glasses of champagne and through dinner and it was finally somewhat rubbed off...somewhat! It's really an amazing product, I can't wait to buy other colors! Doesn't dry your lips out, keeps on shining, doesn't get all over teeth easily...love.

I use it everything morning before going out and it last up to six hours. It's very moisturizing and it's not sticky. I have very dry lip and I have tried several different kinds of lipsticks and this is my favortie one.

I bought this very expensive lip color about 3 weeks ago and its already dried out. Im not sure if they are selling an old product to get it out of the warehouse...or if it just dries out by itself. The color is beautiful...but I keep having to pump it to get any product on the doe foot to apply. Very disappointing...Id expect alot more from Shiseido...but maybe the jokes on me. Save your money and buy the NYX lip products...you can get 6 for the price of one lip lacquer...just sayin'...
