I use this product both on myself and on private clients. It works with most skin types, but in particular, it works very well with oilier skins, and normal or combination. The foundation is perfect for layering, so one can build coverage. More often than not, I combine a few tiny drops of this foundation with Shiseido's Refining Primer. Together, the two even out skin tone, allowing me to 'go back in' with either the cream or pencil concealer, to tackle trouble spots. The addition of the Refining Primer absolutely gives this or any foundation greater hold, and most importantly to oilier skins, halts migration or caking. I find a high-quality foundation brush works best when applying this foundation, and then, further blending with clean fingertips. Finally, a Web site is not the place to purchase a new foundation, but rather, is best for repurchasing purposes. Head to the Shiseido counter and ask the analyst to breakdown the company's approach to shade ranges in general. Once you understand what the numbers that title each foundation shade mean, you can better choose what's right for you. And always try the foundation on your skin, along the jawline, and above the center of cheeks -- so that you can determine whether or not the chosen shade blends into the skin impercetibly. For foundation in general, Shiseido is my first choice.

The foundation didn't match my skin color. It is difficult to tell just from looking at the picture what really goes well with my face. I would rather go the store where I can see for sure. I learned my lesson not to order online because I just wasted my money.

I really want to love this foundation. It blends well and has smooth finish. However, few hours of wearing it, my face is really really shiny. I wish this is oil-free foundation.:(

I noticed that in winter, when I use this foundation my skin does not get dry even when is very cold. I cannot say the same of other foundation that I used in the past.

Love the weight, consistency, and coverage of this foundation but I found that fine wrinkles seem much more noticeable while wearing it. This forces me to use the lifting formula on those particular areas. If you have youthful smooth skin, this formula is perfect!
