I got this powder foundation on a whim after searching for a good powder foundation and I have to say its my favorite one right now! I wear this alone because I don't like the way liquids and creams look on my face. This powder gives me enough coverage to wear alone and I LOVE how easily it goes on the face. The sponge is really durable and great! I got shade 020 and I think next time I will go up a shade to 040 because 20 is a little bit too light for me. This is my first purchase from shiseido and I'm impressed!

This powder provides minimal coverage for an everyday use. I would not recommend if you have many blemishes or scars to cover up. It definitely gets rid of the shiny spots.
While it provides a matte finished I must say that some spots in my face dried up. But then again I believe I need to get a better moisturizer.

Summing all up I do recommend this product for an everyday use. :)

I've been using this for many years and was surprised when Shiseido discontinued it. I'm very happy to see that the Powdery Foundation is back, but does anyone know when it'll be coming to CANADA?

I have been using Shiseido products since they brought Zen perfume to the United States. As they developed the rest of the line, through the last 35+ years, I have used it exclusive until they started making changes to their products. No one could match their foundation, I tried dozens. I bought the compact and 2 refills and will be stocking up on refills now that you brought this foundation back. Can't take a chance you will be stupid again and drop it again. Now if you could bring back the Benefiance
day emulsion moisturizer(that isn't cut with alcohol so you could put it in the pump bottle) I would come back to Shiseido exclusively. The alcohol dries my skin out and doesn't let the moistureizer work.

I went through hundrends of powdery foundations and was never happy...I found Shiseido about 10 years ago and couldnt be happier. I bought the replacement product and was so disapointed and I had no idea what I was going to do. I was so happy to log on and see the original product back. Please dont ever take it away.

I have been using Powdery Foundation since the 1980s. It was taken off the market for a brief period of time. During that time, I must have purchased literally 15 other types of powder foundations from every other manufacturer in the department store's make up department. While I found one product that "sort of" was the same, everything failed in comparison! I am so happy that it is back on the market that I just bought 4 refills, just in case! I would recommend this product to anyone and I already have!!

I do believe the formula is different from the original product when it was discontinued. The biggest complaint I have with cosmetic companies is that they have a need to change their products when there IS no need. I would be cautious on my recommendation of this product to someone else.

I was horrified when Shiseido discontinued this product. I've used this product for years and was crushed when I had to change to the square case, which never quite matched my skin.

As soon as they announced it was "back by popular demand", I purchased 2 and a new case. Everyone noticed the difference. Although I am 55, I have always taken good care of my skin and thought to be 10 years younger. I am overjoyed that this product is back!

This is definitely the best, including Shiseido's other foundations , and after Shiseido discontinued Powdery Foundation I bought up wherever it was available. I can simply not understand that Shiseido does not sell this product all over incl. Europe
