Hi Vangie. You may use it either way, depending on you and your skin type. While some people may find BB cream hydrating enough on its own, others prefer to moisturize and follow with BB cream as a foundation.

Hi, i bought a firming massage mask a week ago ang started using it but then i bought a white lucent starter kit just now. My question is, can i use it both at the same time? And can i use the firming massage mask at night after i use the luminizing surge

Hi Gina, you can use the Firming Massage Mask with the White Lucent regimen. We recommend using the mask after cleansing and softening skin. After massaging the mask for 2-3 minutes, remove with a tissue. Then, apply White Lucent Luminizing Surge.

I think this is one of the best Shiseido products, also the one of the best seller bottles from the White Lucent collection. It is hard to find it in stores such as Sephora or Dillards. I hope Shiseido will never discontinue this one!

Since using this, I have noticed a change in my skin, it's been gradual and subtle but very impressive nonetheless! Friends have been commenting on how glowy my skin looks - which is very pleasing to hear - it must be working fantastically. I have had the Luminizing Surge since May and use it twice a day along with the White Lucent Brightening Cleansing Foam. It's now mid Aug and only now do I need to purchase another bottle. The product itself, has a watery consistency and very delicate fragrance. It penetrates the skin very quickly and makes my face feel fresh and radiant. I use one pump which is sufficient for my face and neck. Also, I am of Indian descent with: medium skin tone and combination skin.

I use it morning and night after cleansing and toning with other products from the white lucent line. The bottle is also a great size; I don't find I go through it as quickly as other moisturizers.

I like it because smells very good and doesn't make my face feel so grease after applying it. I would not recommend for people that need a deeper moisturizer. My hope on this emulsion is to prevent and minimize dark spots that are very common in Asian people like me.
