How to use
Apply liberally to face and neck. Reducing the quantity of application will lower the level of sunscreen protection significantly. Product can be applied over and under makeup.

Do you have to get your face wet or sweat in order for this sunscreen to work? Also is this ok for everyday use, i love this formula and would like to use it everyday!
Hi Sarah, you do not need to wet your face to activate sun protection. If you do come into contact with water, the sun protection will strengthen.

I bought this 5 months ago. But now I use it but the color of the the cream so different from the one I used before. It seems a little a pink in color but it was white before. Is there any problem with this?
Actually, the new formula in my opinion is all chemical sunscreen as per the prior reviewer, the older version had some mineral content that has been removed to make it "invisible." The new formula is not good in my opinion, and I bought a ton of the older formula. We also loved the "Smooth" SPF 38 that also was discontinued. Only version left of "wetforce" sunscreen that works for us is the all mineral version in the pale blue bottle but my kids say it is too white for everyday. Bring back the old formula, the "white" color rubbed right in.

What's the difference between this and the shisheido perfect uv protector spf50+ wetforce hydrofresh ?
Hello, The Perfect UV Protector SPF50+ WetForce HydroFresh is only sold in Asia. Since I am based in the US I have unfortunately not been unable to use this product to be able to tell the difference.

Is this sunscreen oil-free?
Hello. While not oil-free, it is non-comedogenic. If you are looking for an oil-free daily use sunscreen, we recommend Urban Environment Oil-Free UV Protector SPF 42.

Does the clear formulation contain zinc oxide and titanium oxide? The the ingredient list does not list either.

Very pleasant smell, doesn't go on too thick or too white like other cheap brands. It feels like you get good coverage with using only a little bit of product. The only downside is that it is so expensive, especially for something they recommend you use daily!

Shiseido has always been a expensive brand. However , i purchased the travel size to this product. I love this product. I use this for my face , arms and shoulders. It definitely protects you fron the sun. Also i do have tan skin so it does not leave a white cast on my skin.

I love that this product has a high spf and mineral sunscreen included. But it left a bad white cast on my face which looked silly, my makeup didnt sit well over it and it made me look greasy. I had heard good things about this product so I was quite disappointed. I will not be repurchasing.

This sunscreen is great. It dispenses in a thin white consistently, but truly does turn invisible. It is easy to apply all over the face and it does not feel heavy at all. There is no white cast at all and leaves a nice finish on the skin.

Sun Protection for Sweaty People!
I got this as a sample when I purchased a replacement for my Ibuki softener. I will definitely be buying a full size in the near future! It felt a little sticky when applying but when it absorbed (which took no time at all), I was shook. My skin was soft and it didn't pill up over the rest of my skin care. I'm a dark skinned black woman and I take medicine that makes me sweat so I was worried about it giving me a weird gray cast when I inevitably began to sweat. Guess what? No gray cast. No remergence of the product on my skin. I think I've found my life long sunscreen!
